GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS chianti-and-more Panzano in Chianti

Your booking becomes effective once CHIANTI & MORE has received the duly signed booking form and a 30% deposit. The balance is payable not later than 45 days before the beginning of the rental period. In the case of bookings made within 45 days of the arrival date, payment in full is due immediately. The amount payable will be specified in the booking form and is settled through bank transfer, credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or check.
After having received the signed booking form and the payment, CHIANTI & MORE will send you a confirmation of your booking. After having received the balance, CHIANTI & MORE will send you your voucher (e-mail or letter) and the directions on how to reach your accommodation.
The voucher contains all the necessary information regarding arrival and departure times, address, caretaker and any additional costs. The voucher has to be shown to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival.
Additional costs, as defined in the property description, the booking form and the voucher, are payable to the owner or the caretaker before departure.
Times of arrival and departure (details in your voucher) must be strictly adhered to.
The passports of the client and all members of his/her party have to be registered at the moment of arrival in accordance with Italian law.
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaint regarding any aspect of the holiday accommodation, the client shall notify CHIANTI & MORE immediately.
A breakage deposit will be requested upon arrival. As mentioned in your voucher, the breakage deposit is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker. The client and his/her party shall maintain the property in the same good order as upon arrival. In the case that the client or a member of his/her party breaks or damages anything in the holiday home, the owner or CHIANTI & MORE must be advised immediately. Any loss or damage caused by the client or a member of his/her party will be deducted from the breakage deposit.
As also mentioned in your voucher, the tourist tax is payable in cash (Euro) to the owner or the caretaker upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the paid tourist tax.
Occupation of the property is strictly limited to the persons mentioned in the rental contract and the number of people indicated on the property description (infants, children and teenagers included). Baby cribs and children's beds should be requested - if available - prior to your arrival.
Pets are allowed only if mentioned in the property description. In any case, the client must list pets on the booking form and pets must be confirmed on the voucher.
The client shall take full responsibility for the safety and conduct of him/herself and all other members of his/her party.
In the unlikely event that the booked and confirmed property should no longer be available, the client may cancel the booking and receive a full refund of the amount paid in advance. No further compensation can be paid. In addition, CHIANTI & MORE will attempt to offer at least one alternative, similar property. In this case, the due rental rate is to be redefined.
Cancellation policy
1. cancellation more than 60 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 30% of the total amount + bank fees
2. cancellation from 59 to 46 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 50% of the total amount + bank fees
3. cancellation from 45 to 21 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable 90% of the total amount + bank fees
4. cancellation within 20 days prior to arrival: due and not reimbursable full amount
The infrastructure of the Tuscan countryside may be different from that in your country. Access to some of the properties offered is via dirt roads, which may cause difficulties for cars with low suspension or for motorbikes.
Electricity may be interrupted during thunderstorms and this can also cause short interruptions of the water supply, which often depends on electric pumps.
Please use water carefully! Swimming pools are usually open from June to mid October.

Description

The impressing fortified farmhouse is dating back to the 15th century. It was of course modified in the course of the centuries and has finally been completely restored by the owner with great care and a respect has been shown in keeping the original layout and style to its former design, assuring authentic features of the local Architecture.

The indeed special property is listed in many books as one of the most beautiful and architectonically most interesting houses of its kind. Today it belongs to an organic winery and offers five comfortable and well equipped apartments with modern bathrooms and kitchens. The gardens surrounding the villa are immaculately kept and well furnished. Help yourself in the organic vegetable garden where you may pick some fresh tomatoes and eggplants for your barbecue. The large swimming pool (7x16 m) is for common use and shared by all guests at the villa, but each apartment enjoys a private outside terrace / dining area. The winery produces organic Chianti Classico wines and organic extra virgin olive oil.
A precious service is the possibility to get breakfast, lunches and dinners at the estate. Please contact us for details.

* GOURMET BREAKFAST BASKET organic local products: Fresh cereal bread, butter, milk, eggs, fruit, natural yogurt, salami or sausages, homemade quiche or cake or frittata, cereal, honey or marmalade, cheese, fresh croissants. The tray will be delivered to your apartment daily: 8.30am to 10.30am. Euro 15 per person one time service - 1 week breakfast Euro 95 per person. For families: children over 8 years old Euro 8.00 - 1 week breakfast Euro 45.

• DINNER SERVICE: Book the dinner delivery service in your apartment, available Monday to Saturday for Min 2 adults from Euro 20 per person ( 2 courses + 1 bottle of wine every 2 persons included). Families: 2 adults and Children over 6 years old pay Euro 5,00 ( 1 dish ).During the summer we offer wine dinners of different kind, if planned you will be informed by the reception.

• COOKING CLASS: From Monday to Saturday. It includes a hands-on course, lunch and wine tasting. Min 2 adults. Euro 125,00 pp (course, lunch or dinner, and wine tour of the winery included)

• TAKE AWAY lunch or dinner: this service can be ordered by the reception or by whatsapp from MONDAY to SATURDAY.

• EVERY DAY CLEANING or EXTRA CLEANING Euro 25 per bedroom per day (1 Shower towel, 1 face towel, 1 bathroom carpet, 2 bed-linen, 4 pillow cases). To be booked at the moment of reservation.

• LAUNDRY SERVICE: service available from 8.30am to 10.30 am. Laundry is picked up by our staff by your entrance door. Returned after 24 hours the latest. No wool, silk or leather. No dry cleaning. This service is completely offered to all our guests.

• DRYER: service available Euro 20 for each bag

• On the table of the kitchen, you will find our wines and EVOO, which will be charged only by consumption. Our maids will refill by request and check consumption by departure.

• BARBECUE – to grill (with charcoal) for private use specify date and name on the blackboard. Pizza oven requires at least 3 hours to heat and a lot of wood. It is necessarily to book fairly in advance. Pizza oven = Euro 35,00

The name of the property means “gentleman`s home”. In this case the gentleman was the famous Cavalier Luca di Totto di Panzano. In the 14th century he bought the tower (built in the 13th century), expanded the building and made it his residence. It first appears in the land registry in the year 1427
